Artist statement
My recent works are inspired by shapes, configurations and patterns of the physical and digital reality with a primary focus on information and communication.
During the over year-long research about the history and theory of information, I became aware of the fundamental role the information plays in the interconnected universe. The body of work created so far touches on the significance of the binary code, transformabil-ity of information and the omnipresence of information flow.
“When photons and electrons and other particles interact, what are they really doing? Ex-changing bits, transmitting quantum states, processing information. The laws of physics are the algorithms. Every burning star, every silent nebula, every particle leaving its ghostly trace in a cloud chamber is an information processor. The universe computes its own des-
