The piece “Rise” is from a larger body of work called “The Beneath Series” which explores the hidden, the ways we heal and personal power. This piece pays homage to the totem animal the octopus, the trauma recovery warrior of the animal world. It is a animal which has deep meaning and symbolism personally for the artist.

Candy Morrigan is a Worcestershire based artist working across a range of media. Her work explores a range of themes from trauma, spirituality, healing and the divine feminine.
The piece “Even Wet Wood Burns” is part of a larger body of work called “The Beneath Series” exploring the hidden, the ways we heal and personal power. Within this series the imagery of spirit guides and totem animals plays an important part.
